I enjoy cooking, have won quite a few contests, and even taught classes for Adult Ed. Hiking through and climbing the Red Rocks of the Moab area - the intense feelings are spiritual and exhilarating.
Dislikes: People who only want to use others; who just want to be friends until someone "better" comes along, and pretend to fit in by mimicking your likes and dislikes. People who pretend to be Pagan, because they think it's a fad; or those who believe that being a high priestess or high priest makes you queen or king over your pagan community., Also, people who feel the need to pressure and/or manipulate you into their way of life----obviously, they cannot stand the idea that anyone could be different from them, and that we all need to be clones.

I have known I am a witch since I was five years old, being trained by my maternal grandmother. I am a Nocturnal Witch and a Dark Pagan, and my energies come from the night. I follow the deities of the Greek pantheon. I intensely dislike people who equate Dark Paganism with the "black arts", for they're showing deliberate ignorance. There is so much information out there, and there's no excuse not to use it to learn about other paths, and dispel misinformation. I am a solitary witch, am not, nor ever been, in a coven; nor do I attest, or pretend, to be a high priestess of any path or coven.
I do, however, enjoy getting together with others and discussing different Pagan paths and issues. I don't mind getting together just for general chit chat either, but that's after we get to know each other better. Coffee cafes, especially in book stores, are my favorite places to hang out.
I was born in 1958, so do the math if you need to know the exact age; am happily married to my second husband; have one adopted son who is in his 20's. My other children consist of 4 cats, 3 dogs...and I guess you could include the 5 member family of outdoor cats that reside under our garden shed.
