I am a beginner, but very interested in learning about any path. I spent much of my life in a religion which subjugated women and looked down upon others despite officially preaching love for all. I have served in the military, where I saw oppression, hate, and violence in the name of religion. All of this has led me to follow what I see as the most responsible paths, but I must lament, as I still know little of them. I am a student of international politics, heading soon to graduate school, and a lover of knowledge. I am a lover of all things natural, of the warmth of the sun, the beauty of the moon, the feel of a crisp ocean breeze upon my face, and the cold, clean air of the mountains. I seek knowledge, enlightenment, peace, harmony, and equality in all things.
