I am head of a large Sinnsreachd family. I am a married father of nine (6 boys, 3 girls) . I am an Army veteran. I also edit the blog "Sinnsreachd Life" (see Website II over there -->) .
I have been a practicing Pagan of one stripe or other since 1996. I started with Wicca, as most do, but as I matured and as my family grew I longed for a religion that was more stable, not as eclectic, something that I could pass to my children and their children. This longing led me away from Wicca to more traditional paths. As a stop along the way I studied Druidry for some time with Ord Draoichta na Uisneach which really renewed my interest in Gaelic (mostly Irish) paganism. That search in turn led me to Celtic Reconstructionism, Gaelic Traditionalism and finally Sinnsreachd. Sinnsreachd satisfies my longing for family, tradition, and culture they way no other path has. My family officially became Túath nDáirine in 2005.
I take my path seriously. It is more than a religion, more than spirituality. It is a way of life that encompasses and influences everything that I am. To that end I am pretty tolerant of other paths, but have little personal interest in most Wiccan/neo-pagan paths. That said, I welcome questions.
