Likes: The forest is my sanctuary so getting outside, camping, beaches, meadows, riversides, forests, anywhere I can sit and just listen to the mother godess, good auras, good people, others of like minds (of course) getting creative and learning, reading... there is always more to learn!
Dislikes: close mindedness ( I know, it's been said a million times before) the unnecessary stress and drama that some people seem to thrive on, fair weathered friends, my ex LOL, people that would judge a person and call them everything except what they really are, "family" that thinks that water is indeed thicker than blood, the general thought that gaia will take care of all of us endlessly (respect your mother!!) cheauvanisim (hey, if I want to be a dirt worshipping tree hugging housewife, it will be my choice not yours) People that objectify others (I can't stand being objectified!!!) and it happens far too often! I hate flakey friends that have intent to do things with you and then bail
Hmmm... me in a nutshell, I am still wanting to learn more even though I am an elder in my circle (or coven) , I have pretty much always been a witchypoo and have been out of the broom closet for about 8 years now. I have learned that the more knowledge I gain about the craft, the more I realize I have been practicing this stuff since I was about 6 years old I just didn't know what it was or why. I am of native and celtic decent (as if the curly red hair, green eyes and freckles don't rat me out) and find myself wanting to revert to and learn more about the old world ways. I am a cloak maker. I started out shopping for one of my own and quickly found how expensive they were and how short they all were when I tried them on (with a 36 inch inseam, long enough is pretty much out of the ?) when I can't be creative, I feel like a caged bird. So I started to research the traditional ways to make them and found some patterns. the second cloak I made i donated to my chapel for a silent auction and it was a huge hit! I was almost instantly known as the coven's designated cloak maker. Since then, I have branched out into hand dying, hand painting, and embroidered and custom pieces, old world styles and ladies riding cloaks, kids cloaks that you can almost never find, and a mommy or daddy and me line, kilt shirts with and without sleeves and madien's old world style gowns. I consign them to a couple local shops and I do so only because I feel that I am not only participating in a hobby that makes me happy, but I also feel that I am doing a huge service to the pagan community. I enjoy spending time with and conversing with others of like mindedness, there is always more room for more friends! Drop me a line, say hi anytime! I will be sure to get back to you. BB ALL!
