grey ghost is an eclectic witch and spiritualist, meaning i will steal/borrow anything that works. i am currently engaged in an attempt to revise death rituals, to aid those who are about to die or have just died in passing over to the higher planes as viewed from the Qabala/Kabballah.
i was raised in what now would be termed a garden/kitchen witch/pagan environment on seven rural acres with a forced indoctrination into Christianinty by the influence of an older sister. i learned astrology and tarot in the mid sixties with the aid of a favorite aunt, who was deeply into metaphysics. my father died in 1962 which began my quest into the meaning of life and death rituals, resulting in my book, "QBL: An Eclectic Guide for Life after Death".
i have studied all major religions, finding wisdom in all of their teachings, but remain assured that all of their books or book collections, Bibles, were writen by humans, often for politcal gain and control of the peasant class. i tend to find the Gnostic view of Jesus to be more realistic and aligned with a Qabalaistic view of the Universe.
i embrace belief systems that are established through experimentation rather than revealed knowledge, hence my wife's and my study and practice of the Craft began in the mid-seventies. we have been married forty-two wonderful and exciting years. the last four years we full timed in a RV after retiring in 2007 from Civil Service and previously retired from the Military. while we have belonged to several covens over the years, we currently are solitary, most of our close coven mates have passed over. While in the US Navy, i had the opportunity to observe, first hand, many of the worlds Religions, without the closed mindedness of western society.
Astrologically speaking, i am a Scorpio, with Scorpio rising and my moon on the Scorpio/Libra cusp. My wife is a Cancer, with Cancer rising. We have a very "watery" relationship.
