Green Stag Spiritwork's Profile...
Green Stag Spiritwork is named for one of my totems who I met while meditating not long after I began my shamanic training in 2003. The Green Stag and my other totems have been sure and true guides, teaching me much more than any mentor in the physical world I've had. Much of the knowledge I have comes from first hand experience and is complimented by thorough research of esoteric philosophy, occult, and shamanic practices from all over the globe - with an emphasis on Celtic and Siberian shamanism.
I have been doing energy work and teaching classes since 2006. What I love most about working with other people is the opportunity to listen, because everyone has amazing stories to tell. Their stories are in their words, the way they move, the feel of their energy, and the way they live.
I do not follow the shamanic traditions of any one culture or peoples as I was not mentored by another shaman or indigenous community, and I feel to work from a tradition would be a disingenuous impersonation. I am an American born of the temperate rainforests of western Washington. I am a modern intuitive shaman.
