Raised openminded and encouraged to 'find my own path', I have been a Pagan since I can remember (some of my youngest memories are of "talking to the Gods at the beach") . I am working on publishing some of my poetry, and hope to find the self-dicipline to finish the other books I have been working on. I have been part of Pagan communities across the USA and I enjoy meeting people with new experiences and traditions- or simply thier own twist on an 'established' tradition. I have a dual BA in Religious Studies and Anthropology- with a focus on how peoples' perceptions of thier religion affect the way the conceptualize and respond to our environmental crisis. I also have studied the Mystery religions and have explored the intersection of Taoist and Runic Mythohistorical worldview (yes, they allowed me to do papers on that!) . In my personal practice, I am drawn to and focus on ecstatic and non-systemized forms of worship- such as in some Shamanic and Faery/Underworld traditions. I enjoy going to festivals and exchanging dialogue, drinks and stories (I even host workshops on meade-making and storytelling occasionally) .
