Behind Closed Doors I Cry

I try to hold back my tears
As memories flash through the years
I am so depressed I can't think clearly
I almost had you nearly
For all those moments I had tried
Behind closed doors I cry
Everything reminds me of him
Through all the tears I swim
In the darkness his name I call
For everyone to hear it all
No one cares that I died
Behind closed doors I cry
He never knew how much I loved
More than all the stars above
Now there is nothing left
They should arrest him for theft
When I said I had no feelings I lied
Behind closed doors I cry
The beating of my heart stops
I watch all my tears drop
I knew he would never love me
How could I have been so naive?
My love was denied
Behind closed doors I cry
I have given up on love
And now fly away like a dove
Who cares if I live or die?
Who cares if I always cry?
I am never going to be someone's bride
Behind closed doors I cry
Here's my heart I don't need it anymore
And watch as my eyes pour
You were my everything and I was not
I was just someone you forgot
Now all I want to do is hide
Behind closed doors I cry
Author's Notes: When i wrote this piece i thought i would never find someone to love me, i never though i would be good enough for someone to fall in love with me. I now now that isnt true
