Ram of Earth and Fire

A wintery chill feels you within.
When you are bent, what can you see?
When you are doubled over,
May I carry you on my shoulder?
She smiles,
As we walk the fields of delight.
She smiles,
As I draw her to the light.
She smiles,
As I let go of a silent scream.
She smiles,
As I realise her smile is but a dream.
O my love, what have you done?
Your eye is the morning star.
Clothed in wasted blood, you conceive life.
I must leave you now my love...
Your ways cut me with a ritual knife.
Silence reveals your secrets.
The streams of life uncover your gargled screams.
Release the fury from within,
The beauty inside are all my treasured sins.
How can I open your eyes and make you see?
Please break free from me.
I want you to be free,
Free from me.
