Beyond the Burning, we witches thrive,
Happy and free, a new day to strive,
To live and laugh and work and learn
To dream and wish, to need and yearn
We stand beside our onetime foe,
And watch with joy as spirits grow,
To feel remorse for horrors past,
And we pray we’ve seen the last.
We are a friend, and we are a shield
We call the rain for crops to yield,
We sing and dance, we all rejoice,
And all call out as a single voice
Witches of many colours and creeds,
Alike in faith, and alike in deeds
Around the world, yet dancing together,
With the wind and sea and weather
Merry meet and merry part,
For every person has a heart,
Good or bad, they join the dance,
- All souls deserve a chance.
To try again, to make a fresh start,
To a change of mind, a change of heart,
To start to help, reverse an ill,
To hear the Goddess, to serve her will.
Until, down the Spiral Path they tread,
No more alive, and yet not dead,
To rejoin the Lord and Lady grand,
To their re-unions in the Summerland!
Author's Notes: Another lost piece of my major work.... Pity...
This one never turned out quite right anyway....
