I had no thought of gain
I did not leave
The dry rustlings of one God
To gain payment from another
No!
It was a homecoming
A return to a place of rest
Of longing
It was to be guided
Once more
On the waters of the mystic sea
Hear again the laughter of the wild
In the singing of the grass
Author's Notes: This is an explanation to a friend who accused me of turning my back on God and was fearful of what would happen to my soul, I wrote this to let him know that all would be well.
