I will go no more a wandering
In the woods of the blue bell
To see the skylight darkening
Among the bracken and the fell
To hear the Owls voice in the night
And the Ravens raucous cry
For tomorrow I am to named a man
And childish things must by
Let water roar
Let earth be split
Let wind blow where it can
For in the fires of the night
A boy becomes a man
No more the warmth of my mothers breast
Calmed by her loving hand
Running with friends, wild and free
All of our days unplanned
For tomorrows morn shall see me changed
A man, with a mans right
But now, in my heart, I am still a child
And fear the coming night
Let water roar
Let earth be split
Let wind blow where it can
For in the fire of the night
A boy becomes a man
Author's Notes: This is actually from a piece I am writing, but I think it works as a stand alone piece, maybe even a song (oh if only I could play an instrument)
