Camelot - a tragedy in four parts

Age Group: Adult
First came Arthur
Resounding deep
Base solo
Singer of destiny
Dreams filled his eyes
And his heart sang
With England’s glory
First quest
Unite the warrior bands
Of minstrels
Sword in stone
A conductor’s baton
Next came Lancelot
Middle range
Pure and innocent
His song spun legends
Out of the once and future King
Friendship formed
And moulded into
A duet of chivalry
Second Quest
Peaceful dwells the land
But unregenerate
Mar quintessent
In slumbering two/four time
Guinevere
The child Queen
Quicksilver and serene
Unbeguiled
A false note in the song
Though not through Malice
Third quest
True love confounded
Hearts bleed
Oaths Unoathed
Bloody war ensues
Battle scene
Guinevere nunnified
Lancelot destroyed
Arthur left lost
To go to the fairy Isle once more
Legend to come again
Author's Notes: I was playing around with the lengend of Arthur and how it might be played out as a musical. I hope you find this as amusing as I did
