Flowers (revenge)

I hold you close and hug you as we lay in a field of flowers,
I kiss your sweet lips this time, for this time is ours.
I kiss you so tender, for each pain that touched you in the past,
I kiss you my sweetheart as tender as the last.
You are free now my sweetheart as free as the birds,
You are free now my sweetheart no more cries will be heard.
for I love you my sweetheart as I hold your hand so tight,
and stroke your hair my sweetheart as the stars Shines so bright.
I close your eyes now my sweetheart as the stars do slowly fade,
and carry you home now my sweetheart to the home that we made.
Rest in peace now my sweetheart you have no more to fear,
for he's gone now my sweetheart he can't hurt you here.
From the doorway my sweetheart I blow you one last kiss;
and as the morning was breaking one more life was taken
and that was his.

Author's Notes: I think this is one of those poems that comes from within like messages from a past life, where words flow from a person, and when a person or writer is holding a pen but not in control of it and is written by ones spirit and essence of who he/she is in life's past
