Farewell

Leaves fall upon my naked bosom
The hair like wind and eyes of fire dies within
for it is you my love that calls my name to bare
oh scarlet witch of cross-unborn
Where art thou my friend, where art thou.
Why do you cry tears of blood for my mortal soul
Oh why my friend , oh why
Shadows cast me now into pitch of darkness
And earth does take my youth
I will remember you oh mortal friend
For thee internal time you gave
Side by side we stood as enemies crossed our path
With sword and shield in hand , as dusk would fill with blood
In the battle fields of hate
Oh longing for peace to take this day
My love I say good bye so far from these evil shores
Don’t morn for this pitiful soul who lies in this stony grave unseen
Don’t grieve for me my love save your tiers for what life does bring
But remember me upon your wall, a photo in a tarnished frame
Oh darkness takes me now, for I give my last farewell old friend.
