The Choice is Made
By Raveneve Night
In sky and starlight glow we share,
wonder and pain in joined pair.
Showing us a world of neglect and care,
tho’ polluted through hate and despair.
A breath of light shining down,
highlights the slow, sorrowed frown.
The fools and dogs laugh and clown,
in the streets of glittering towns.
Will fools wake and the blinded see?
The loss of hope, of people dirty.
She sighs, cries in pain, silently,
and turns Her face from society.
In this verse does hope come by?
The land turn green and the turquoise sky?
Does She smile on people, great and shy?
Only you know, so goodbye.
