When I'm In Your Arms

I run down my street,
A radio blares in the background,
Lightning flicks in the grey sky.
I know not what I run from,
Only what I run to.
I run towards your bright-eyed smile,
Towards your gentle laugh,
To your velvet voice,
And to your sweet embrace.
I want to feel your strong arms about me,
And to never leave again
When I'm sheltered in your arms
The whole world falls away
Fears, worries, troubles
They can't touch me here
No one else exists
No one else but you.
