Behind your eyes

Every now and then
I’d see my Father
Look at me
From behind your eyes…
And I realize…
That ‘dead’ is just a word
That we use to name or proclaim
When we can’t see
How complete love and
Life can be…
For lately, life would often
Catch me by surprise…
Like when my darling daddy
Looks at me through your eyes…
