Frozen seeds

Deep dark nights,
With frozen smiles,
Softly the wind blows to my eyes,
And I have seen the many plights,
Have been caressed by their many wives,
Have been held by knives,
That stab unto my heart,
The trees, the land they make their mark,
They fool me not with their ways,
I have seen, as they have seen in other ways,
To blind me in their truths decay.
Rotten and conceited they betray,
With sights alike, unholy names,
Kissed by those without a face,
A leg to stand on, they give or take.
No conscience given as they mate.
Like the seeds that do not bloom,
The sunshine denies them food.
They can not grow just as I,
Without the love they do aspire.
Author's Notes: This was written when i was going through a difficult time in my life about my ex partner cheating on me over and over again.
