My Indian Scar

Fragmented memories drawing together,
But eluding me…
I feel cheated and confused.
I stretch myself to reach, to gather
To grasp what I see…
But am left empty and bruised.
I remember the essence of you!
Around the fire, in the flames…
I loved you with all my soul.
Do you remember me too?
Precious spirit of the plains…
Please find me, please make me whole.
