Fearless sensitivity

The wound lies not
within me
but within society
who paint a black cross
upon my door
proclaiming
disease
do not enter
evermore
and so i walk
outcast
seeking for other
who dare
to enter
where the fire is warm
and healing balms
well known
and thus their wound
may feel
the love
held in my hands
True compassion
is fearlessness
to be sensitive
