Cat and mouse at the Labyrinth of the Goddess

I met a friend
had a love connection
Now he keeps me at bay
with his best regards
Draws me back in
every now and then
with the light of his soul
blinding my reasons
to let him go
Why is this so?
If he is me
why do I impose
such chasms home
to Mother?
This image ripples
as I dive deeper
into the whirlpool of sacred
Quiet I wait
for the surface to clear
and looking in
whose face now
shall appear?
His I hold dear?
Or a clearer
image
of my own
drawing near?
Ahh
Forgive me
Once more
For judging imperfection
In perfection
for forgetting
to trust
in me
and thus
in you
