Re-trusting intimacy - A prayer

May I be Trustworthy
and hold it all
Sacred
when a man
or a woman
reveals
their secret longings
in a precious moment
when on the breath
of spirit
the door swings wide open
to the soul
of the chld
For once
shown to one
then begins
his journey home
to the family word
Belong
For once
known by one
then waking
she moves along
sharing more deeply
her song
May I see
Trustworthy
and know
the person
and the moment
when my own
door opens
and my own
secret longings
tumble out
to be embraced
by the strength
of gentle
grace
