My Lady to Her Lover

What would you do for me?
I would anoint you
I would paint symbols upon your flesh
And then sit back
And gaze upon
Your form
Adorned
And what would I do for you?
I would dance
Under Her moon
Will true love’s kiss
Bring memory
To this?
Can you feel
Mine blown
Rush through
To your crown
Clearing away
Any stray
Cobwebs
Which may
Have found
A sanctuary
In an unused
Corner
Or two?
Or do you
Have so few
That instead
My light
Finds yours
And outpours
As two streams
Converge?
Have you heard
The royal bird
That majestic lyre
Sing to his Sire?
Have you seen him
High in the tree branch
Glance at his Lady
And dance?
