A Slave To Existence No More

Looking into me,
I see no one,
What do you see,
Am I who you think I am?
Do you even think of me?
Do you like what you see?
Please tell me,
Tell me if you see me,
For I am me,
And I don’t know me,
When I close my eye,
I escape reality,
Lost in my delusion I feel free,
But I still can’t see me,
I see you, it’s you I see,
And my heart starts to cry,
No matter how far I come,
All I see is you, inside my eyes,
Leaving me there to cry,
Go ahead and let me go,
You mean nothing to me,
You suffocate me,
Try to change me,
Never accepting me,
And all I can see is you inside me,
In the end, I haven’t changed,
I’m tired and I want to sleep,
I rather die than stand with you,
And yet still I cant do with out you,
I just want to scream,
Why the hell wont you leave me?
I’ve calmed down,
My heart will never be hurt again,
I’m not confused,
I no longer want to scream,
I’m ready,
I loved you,
This is the end,
Tonight I shall take my flight,
I’ll see you again,
And I wont be changed,
But I will be in a different state,
And time shall cease to exist,
So as my heart loses its paste,
And my body starts to waste,
I shall remember your face,
And the imprint you made on me up to this day.
