I Don't Know What Love Feels Like

I don't know what love feels like
I've read all the love stories
My favorite play is Romeo and Juliet
I'm envious of them
Even though they're only fictional characters
I stay up at night wondering what it would be like
To fall in love
I don't know what it feels like
So I don't know if this is it
I get this feeling when ever I'm around him
But I don't know if its love
I get all excited when he goes online
And when ever he sends my a email I feel like my heart is going to explode
Whenever he laughs I feel like laughing too
And when he says sorry I can't help but smile at how silly he's being
During the summer I missed him so much
Then I saw him at the fair and my heart almost stopped
Is that love?
If it is
I want to hold it in my hand
Making sure it can't escape my grasp
I can't stop thinking about his face
And that smile of his
I told my friend once and she laughed
Then she told her friends and they laughed
Someone said that someone told him how I feel
But then they said that he didn't believe it
Thought it was just a rumor
After then I locked my feelings away for a while
But that smile of his was the key to the vault
Now whenever I listen to a love song I think of him
I write sappy love stories
I started having dreams where I'm in his arms and he's stroking my hair
I brush it a side though
Because I don't know what love feels like
