The Children Are The Future

THE CHILDREN ARE THE FUTURE
Watch our children’s light instil,
Their brilliance and insight.
They have the talent and the will,
To make this world take flight.
They will bring about a change,
And grab hold of all that’s dear.
They will save us through the rage,
And make love’s message clear.
Look to the children,
For they will make us strong.
In bringing forth their destiny,
They show what we’ve done wrong.
They see the world’s in darkness,
Shattered and ashamed.
The grown-up’s seem mindless,
To what they have defamed.
They are being sucked into the darkness,
Of pollution, death and war.
Children see the world as priceless,
But no one seems to care anymore.
You’ve left the world in shambles,
And now you condemn the youths.
To repeat your sickening scandals,
And feed them with half-truths.
Their lights are shining brightly now,
Their ideas seem scary and new.
We do not want to allow,
Our world to become askew.
In your world of misery,
Let them be free to make it what they will.
And bring life back into harmony,
Do not break their good will.
For they are the ones who’ll set us free,
From the world we have made so ill.
They see the death around us,
And know their work’s uphill.
Stop fighting and medicating them,
Changing the world is why their here.
Their mistakes you cannot condemn,
They embark on a new frontier.
They must cleanse the world of pollution,
And stop the killing and the wars.
They must find a brilliant solution,
To restore the great outdoors.
Their sweet innocence remembers,
The place they used to be.
In the Heart of the Creator,
Pure Love, In Eternity.
