Witches Eyes

In the eyes of Her Witches,
The Lady bestows Her glorious riches,
The Earth is alive with a fiery breath,
Honouring Her in life and death.
In the magickal dust of the fairy,
Our eyes are opened, and we Meet Merry,
Dancing to Our Lady's beat,
We drum & chime & stomp our feet,
Energy raised to a fevered pitch,
This is the life of a happy Witch.
The Moon glows with Her loving light,
The Ocean reflects, a beautiful sight.
Sparkling upon the waves of wonder,
For Her beauty, we eagerly hunger.
What a glorious life the Witch does lead,
Ever striving to succeed.
Cast a spell, throw a stone,
Make your life, The Lady's home.
Eye's wide open, seeing the way,
Rejoicing in another day.

Author's Notes: I wrote this poem years ago while still with my second husband. I had an altar room that was painted purple and a beautiful altar with a huge pentacle encrusted on it. I had a computer like I do now and i was in better health so I could go to the rivers and steams and pick up rocks and things and water for my spells. I love this poem it's my best work yet it just came to me one day while i was sitting at home. Thank you for reading it. Lady Deerhawk.
