the celtic prayer
by dark-daughter

mother earth, majestic beauty
grove of trees, strong and pure
river of life, straight or bend
sky above so serene.
pollution, her so......
choking air, trying to keep up
swift currents, chemical warfare
once so blue but now so brown
mountains so high, last purity left
trees stand proud, fresh air bound
water so pure and clean
blues so beautiful, candy to the eye
respect your God, why not my earth?
walk through the trees, breathe their gift
swim in the waters so sweet
soft clouds on blue, melt stress away
hear my prayer, this celtic cry
we've lost so much, to much already
rivers, trees, our skies above
mother earth dying
please hear my prayer........
