Escape

I'm lying on the green grass, soaking up the warm kisses from the the sun
Embracing the tender gentle moments time takes me away, lifts my body in to the sky
As the white fluffy clouds wrap's itself around me, hugging me, comforting me
Meanwhile my spirit is looking down into the forest, I am flying freely through
The orange-pinkish light from the sunset chases me through each branch in the tree
We race each other to the ground, I sit underneath a tree surrounded with leaves
Mickey, Charlie, Princess, & Precious walks up beside me
I pet them, kiss them, telling them that I love them all
Then they vanish into the air swirling with the leaves changing into a figure of beauty
The goddess appears before me
Author's Notes: greetings to all, the animals in this poem are my babies that have passed away. This poem is for anyone seeking comfort and love.
