Air
blows freely without a care
caressing my body with a gentle touch
Fire
burns the wood
heating my skin, against the cold it acts like a hood
Water
from the softness of a stream to the roughness of the ocean
its power is ever changing, ever in motion
Earth
gives me strength from day to day
in the summer it is the soil on which I lay
Spirit
the purple dust in the night
with love it can become ever so bright
Blessed Be *
Author's Notes: I thought of this late at night, when I was looking out my window at the dark purple sky
