Uncertainty

One month and seven days left. Then 6 months we have been going out. Seven days till our five-month anniversary.
Dad gives us until the middle of July. Well, poop on him. We will last… right? What if we don’t? We’ve been drifting.
Cry. All I need to do is cry sometimes. Tears may flow, but no relief will follow. Cry for him, cry for love, cry for pain. But everyone knows you cry for protection.
While tears tend to soften the heart into loving you again, the mind nags of past hurts. Who will he listen to?
What to do during uncertain times? Cry for the sake of crying? Hide to be un-noticed? Scream to relieve pressure? It all just builds up.
Author's Notes: The chance of splitting up is too great so I wrote this.
