the after thoughts of an attack

Age Group: Adult
The pain pushes through
Even now confusion clouds
The physical pain is going,
But nothing can get rid of the emotional.
When eyes are shut, the whole scene plays again
Will charging him affect that pain?
The heart can't be mended by a piece of paper
The feelings still come
Emotional rollercoasters aren't fun
Being alone in the house doesn't help
Looking around, seeing the easyness of death
Death may not be the answer to all problems,
But it'd sure make this life alot better
Author's Notes: I was attacked last night by someone I love... I write this poem the day after.
