self of sky

Age Group: Adult
the rings of the oak tree
make up the swirls
of my fingerprints.
the turning of rivers
make up the curves
of my form.
my breasts are even
to the sloping of hills.
this skin i wear closely
is only the sun shining
so smoothly
over me.
harmonized with breeze
my voices ease a peace
and with the grass braided
in curls
to my face.
i see that i am one
with the mother of stars
and i hold her to me
while she teaches me
her song.
