Astra, Astarte
star-scattered beauty,
Nuit sky arching over me
beckons in whispering thunder
release the earth and rise to join me
with arms outstretched, flooded with love
and devotion I rush slowly to Her stardust arms.
Humbled as we float in space, I embrace her in fivefold kiss.
no dry ritual this but all the love my hands my lips my tongue can speak,
Soft hollows of Her knees, smooth, firm thighs, gently kiss, lasciviously lick
cup Her breasts, sculpt comet-speckled areolas, nipples gently gripped
between my teeth our mouths are limpet locked. breath flows back
and forth between us, through awe-struck O's to lovingly suckle
life from one another then give it back and more demanding
lips grip me fiercely within the inverse cosmic globe,
to draw me to Her core while Her breasts softly,
succulently, melt through my ribs to enfold
my heart. Universe begins to swell and
quake, Oh, how can I tell you, echo
from planet to planet throughout
the timeless reaches of space
giant suns flicker and dim
and stumble weakly
in their orbits.
In celestial peace ivy twine, dream dancing
spoon and merge She and I together watch
my ancient personna shell, socialized man ,
fall away, an empty, crumpled suit of clothes,
drifting forever between cradling galaxy arms,
New understanding love, gaze fondly back
at Earth and her creatures. For the moment
we are content, searching idly for the living spark
who, spreading fresh wings, will be our next lover.
Author's Notes: Thank you for reading this. It occurred on the second of a two-night solitary full Moon ritual, a month after I'd left my circle. Think of it as a gnosis, an experience of Hadit/Nuit or Shakti/Shiva, or whatever metaphor works for you.
This isn't how it looks on paper because we don't have much choice of formatting on Witchvox. But I'm thankful that we have this marvellous and magical facility.
