Poem - Mountains of the Night

MOUNTAINS OF THE NIGHT
There is a winding pathway
And it leads us to a door
That shimmers in Her moonlight
Where many stood before
The key is not made of gold
But the love within our souls
It’s the key to all Her wonders
Waiting to unfold
When that door is opened
And when you step inside
You will find the wonders
Its where peace and love abide
The grass is a little greener
The lakes a richer blue
The air a little cleaner
The breeze is always cool
The animals and the birds
Are free to wander there
No fear of man exists
For love and trust are here
The Dragons in their majesty
Fly high on swirling winds
The unicorns are contented
For the Magick dwells herein
The Lady and the Lord
Walk together hand in hand
Gazing ever fondly
On those that dwell within
The days are warm and the nights are cool
The sun and moon shine bright
And peace and contentment reign
Within the Mountains of the Night
So if by chance you pass the door on some restless evening's walk
And you weary of the day and the troubles that it brought
Use the key that They’ve given, come and step inside,
And find some peace and love on a blessed moonlight night
