Poem - Fire Light

The shadows dart and play around
Fire light’s warm gleam
And venture forth and waver back
As if within a magick dream
No fearful beasts, there without,
Just a playful web of black
That hides the creatures of the night
Alone or in their pack
All creatures One, born of love
A place within Life’s web
None lesser then or greater of
Then those who would be men
The warmth we seek within the soul
Of this orb we call the Earth
Lies just beyond the fire’s gleam
Within Nature’s song of birth
There is comfort in the firelight
There is comfort in Their Love
I wonder where the greater warmth,
In the fire or Their love?
