Needs
Moon’s silver light pre-empts the dawn
Laying bare dark shadows there
While rustling denizens of the night
Seek shelter from the morning’s kiss
Soft footsteps upon the verdant path
Slide silently along towards Mabon’s eve
Twisting down these silent paths
Still wrapped within Midnight’s gleam
Questing for the new borne day
Searching for that gentle hour
That takes away all twists of fear
So oft found deep within the soul
Listening for the Spirit’s call
Upon the endless winds of Time
That whisper of Her secrets there
Borne within the White Stag’s heart
Seeking naught but love and grace
A certain happiness of soul
To quell the sadness of his heart
As Fall’s warm breath turns to cold
Renewal sought before its time
Lays solemn on the fallen leaf
Held at bay by Magick’s power
As Faerie caper round about
He who seeks Fate’s winsome touch
Must await the Raven’s call
Amidst the infinite grace of years
Beneath the endless dome of stars
When you seek lay bare your soul
Reach out with both the heart and mind
And She will gently take your hand
And wrap you within the mysteries of time
