MIST
Lakes in morning, mist covered gems
Like strands of jewels in midnight skies
Capture hearts and souls alike
Bring balance through the twilight hours
Souls wrapped in peace and solitude
Are calm in joy and gratitude
Filled with pleasant thoughts of peace
All touched by nature’s enduring love
The mystery of wondrous life is there
Calm and beautiful to our sight
Pleasant hours to reflect
On our journey’s path towards the light
Find the solitude in your mind
Amongst pools of calm that are profound
Then you find the best of you
And become a gem among the pearls
A star among the stars of life
Burning brightly with Their love
A gentle soul with gifts to give
When greeting those on their journey’s quest
