Poem - Is There Magick

IS THERE MAGICK©
I was standing on my Journey’s road
Lost in deepest thought
Pondering the question
Has the Magick all been lost?
Thoughts were twisting through my mind
Was the answer hard to find?
But then I stopped and paused
And opened up my eyes
The sun will rise the moon will set
The tides will rise and fall
The birds still dart about and sing
I will hear the owl’s call
The bear will climb the mountain
The salmon swim the seas
The loons still send their mournful cry
Over lakes to you and me
Hawk and eagle will roam the skies
Deer graze across this land
The puma stalk its living prey
The wolf still live in packs
Though life is never gentle
The cycle will start and end
I ask you all to cherish
These gifts the Lady gives
And as long as there are Witches
Magick will survive
Ours to use and cherish
Blessed by the Lady’s love
Magick is all around us
If only you could see
The lines of sparkling power
From Her to you to me
Use Her Magick wisely
Whether High or whether Low
Cast your spell in gentle love
And feel the power flow
Tread gently on Her pathway
Think slowly of its use
For within Her wondrous circle
We give Her Magick birth
Not meant to harm but just to heal
Her gift is ours to use
To cast in wondrous splendor
On each turning of the Wheel
