Poem - My Love

My Love
As I tread the lonely pathways
Underneath these jewelled skies
I often wonder where she is
Where her loving soul abides
It is quiet along the wooded paths
As I wander towards the lake
I feel her presence all around
Wrapped in nature’s love and grace
I lost her to an ageless dream
My wanderings took me far
My spirit’s quest had called me on
It’s light my guiding star
Her love’s not lost just set aside
Held within my heart’s bright core
It brings me dreams of peace and love
It heals my war torn soul
My Lady’s love a treasure
That will heal the darkest pain
A cure for all my lonely years
When I find her once again.
