Poem - Beauty

Beauty
I wander here and there and sometimes sit beside a stream
And muse upon the beauty that I've found in midnight dreams
I look within these musings, ask questions of the Gods,
And contemplate the answers to the questions that I ask
Is beauty in the moonlight wrapped within its silvered beams?
Or is beauty in the magick of Mother Nature’s wondrous scheme
Is beauty just the gentle rain upon the flowers we behold?
Or is beauty in the footsteps of the many paths we trod
Is beauty just a vision seen with open eyes?
Or within the loving soul that will entwine with yours
Is beauty in your sweet red lips or the words of love you speak?
Or is it in your smile and gentle kiss upon my cheek
Sometimes I see your face within a shadowed pool
And remember that your beauty is enchanting to behold
Sometimes I hear your song upon the evening breeze
Sometimes I hear your whisper in the silence of my sleep
Is beauty borne of sweet content and blessed by Nature's grace
Or is it woven by the Weaver on her spinning wheel of fate
