Poem - Soul Weaver

Soul Weaver
Souls are wrapped in gossamer webs
When weaved upon Her loom
Touched with sparkling stardust
Blessed by silver moon
Each Journey spent within Her light
They share their love and trust
To venture forth in honor
Protecting those they love
Fortune’s song is ever played
Each soul will sing its tune
Each soul will grow within its grace
Till its wondrous Journey’s done
Each ending a beginning
Each sacrifice a gift
Each Warrior’s death remembered
In silver letters all to see
No boyish laugh will greet them
No gentle hand will touch
No friend to lend his helping hand
At the setting of the sun
But endings are beginnings
No sacrifice in vain
For the Lady’s hand that touched him
Will now lead him home
Blessed are all the Warriors
Those who serve the cause of peace
Blessed are all Her Warriors
That find Her gentle sleep
In memory of Police Constable Alan Kuzmich. Walk well in Her grace.
