Me and You
Me and you or you and I
Wrapped within moonlight on the beach
Waves tossing starlight to and fro
As salt grass rustles with the wind
A circle of stone, firelight within
Gentle laughter all about
Faerie just beyond our touch
Within the shadows, oh so hidden there
Love not sought but easily found
Amongst the heaven’s falling stars
Wrapped within the bluebell’s call
Touching deep both heart and soul
Each night in sleep I touch your soul
Gently hold your hand in peace
Sit beside you with delight
Lost within each breath you take
For love unsought is thrice the prize
Love freely given but yet unrealized
A gift from this warm heart to yours
Each loving thought a shining pearl
