Miller’s Pond©
Deep within the twilight
Down by the Miller’s Pond
Found upon the twisted path
That has led you round and round
The fireflies all a glimmer
Midst Her wild, fragrant blooms
And each shadow’s blessed with moonlight
Neath the shimmer of the stars
Just off within the distance
You can hear the call of flutes
For the ethereal draws much closer
As Mid-night fasts approach
Candles burn within the night
Flames dancing on the wind
And the laughter of the Witches
Is heard on evening breeze
Magick power swirls round about
As you linger there
Peace and love pervades the night
Calming fear clad hearts
For love’s beacon shines in friendship
For those who share its joy
A wondrous gift to offer
Amidst life’s lonely voyage
I offer you these words in peace
Written from my heart
Our souls have touched in harmony
Souls once touched will never part
To Linda, Wally, Rob, Ian, Christine, Sara, Tracey, Marie, Bliss, Sue, Carol, Chris, Peter, Spencer, Conrad, Keith, Fenna, Jacques, Joann and all the warriors past, present and future. Thank each of you for you time, patience, sense of humour and most of all the laughter. May the Goddess always walk with you now and forever in both love and peace.
