Words
I thought to put some words to rhyme
Like spring and wind and such
Measured with some rain drops
Throw in the moon and sun
Ramble on about us witches
Maybe put some magick in the air
Write about the moonlight
And its wondrous ethereal glow
How we listen to the dragons
Feel the eagle on its wing
Touch the power in the rain storm
As the grey clouds gather close
Maybe put these words to paper
Charge a dollar for each word
Print the words in gold and silver
And stop wondering if I care
The words that have proceeded
Is the catch all I ‘am afraid
The flag in game of capture
Or gold hid beyond our sight
For I am me, just a writer
Placing words upon a page
Who offers each some laughter
A new beginning to a day
Creating love and light
Offering peace upon the way
So tell me friend who reads this
Is there now a smile upon your face?
