Poem - Wolves

WOLVES
Silent shadows stalk within
The green clad forests here
Ones within earth’s magick
In packs unnumbered there
During laughing, frolic play with kind
What danger lurks within their minds?
As forest creatures pause and hide
While their padded paws flow silent by
It’s the pack that holds the breath
The life that’s shared within one breast
Trusted each within their rites
Through brightest day or darkest night
Walk with them through starlight voids
Down a path towards the moon
Feel the love and trust within
Through silver light’s so precious gleam
Touch their hearts then reach the souls
Of these creatures born of old
Listen close and you will learn
Stories from all ages past
Then when you’re faerie walk is through
Down these paths you shared them
Can you feel the bond within?
Each Anam Cara, each soul friend?
