REFLECTIONS
There’s a lake where I go
Just to sit and muse
You can find it if you look
Beneath the setting sun
Its in that sweet green valley
The one I call my own
Fed by the Wolven River
‘Neath the Mountains of the Moon
It’s a quiet place to sit and think
About the past and present times
Of swaying trees and endless grass
As they sway in wind’s glad song
Sometimes as I sit and muse
My friends will gather there
The Owl, Wolf and Eagle
And the gentle Warrior fair
Their spirits come softly creeping
As the daylight turns to night
As the Loon sings its lonesome song
Within the shadows of Her light
So when you sad or lonely
And you feel the pain inside
Join me beside the lake
Where love and peace abide
Contemplate in wonder
The song the Weaver weaves
Listen to your heart beat
Feel Her laughter on the breeze
For love is just a thought away
A memory found inside
A glimpse of forgotten beauty
A stolen kiss beneath the stars
For family is forever
Souls touch and stay entwined
Just there within your valley
By that lake within your mind
