Poem - Under Starlight

Under Starlight
I stand alone among the stars on a clear and moonlight night
And chase the Spirits round about as we Witches always do
Then Spirits weave and dart within the Shadows of my soul
And fill my heart with wonder as Spirits want to do
Stars are just the dust of all the ages past
Starlight is their beauty ours alone to grasp
Spirits weave their love for all of us to feel,
Spirits that come searching, when called from off the Wheel
Stars are not just diamonds set in heaven’s vault
They reflect the love and light from our Lady’s ageless past
They contain the power to spin dreams, then spells, then hope
Which can wrap this world we call our home within Her perfect peace
So when you stand within the light and call the Spirits forth
And ask them to aid you in your magick of the night
Remember starlight’s glitter is there for you to use
This light of all the ages past augment the Work you do
