Love’s Whispers©
Gentle breezes in the night
Send questing fingers through the dark
The sweet scents of rose and sage
Lead me to love’s winsome touch
You gentle kiss ignites my heart
And with longing sigh and fervent beat
It pervades my soul with healing light
Gently beating back the shadows of the night
Your fingers glancing touch
Caress with love this lonely heart
Laying there with soul’s entwined
Before the firelight’s red warmth
Twisting in love’s sweet embrace
Wrapped within time’s endless dance
With tender thoughts that touch our souls
In love’s gentle movement to and fro
Each touch or sigh is magick’s kiss
Born of love within its mist
Brought forth by you as Nature’s gift
Wrapped within your loving heart
Twilight will pass into night
And I will lie beside you there
Lost deep within love’s sweet perfume
Until the gathering of the day
